American Winery of the Year: And the nominees are...

Some people’s favorite season is fall. Some people’s is spring. My favorite season is AWARDS SEASON! But not all of the awards shows are about honoring the best in film and t.v. No no no. Awards season is also about honoring the best is WINE! Every year, Wine Enthusiast puts on a night to honor the individuals and companies that have made outstanding achievements in the world of wine and spirits over the past year. The categories range from Winemaker of the Year to Winery Experience of the Year. But the category I’m most looking forward to is the one surely to be filled with the most drama, cattiness and tension. J/k I’m sure it will be filled with none of those things. That category is American Winery of the Year. I’m going to give you the run down on all of the nominees and then I’m going to give you my pick. Let’s dive in:

There you have it. The nominees for best American Winery of the Year.

So, who do I think is going to take home the title? Well, I hate to betray my home state of New York and go against Millbrook but my money is actually on…Domaine Serene. No Oregon winery has EVER won this category and I think this might be the year. The winner of this category and all the others will be announced at the end of October. The actual awards ceremony will take place January 27, 2020 in San Francisco. Remember guys, it’s an honor just to be nominated.

Who do you think will win?
