Hi.

Welcome to Partners In Wine. I think wine is a great catalyst to bring people together. Drinking it. Talking about it. Learning about it. Let’s take this journey together. What do ya say, partner?

EEEEEATSCON This Weekend!

EEEEEATSCON This Weekend!

So this coming weekend is The Infatuation’s EEEEEATSCON, a food festival showcasing close to 30 amazing restaurants from not just NYC but from across the U.S. and around the world. From Hattie B’s Hot Chicken from Nashville, TN to Brigadiers , a London based spot serving up delicious Indian food, this festival will have something for everyone’s palate. The Infatuation is all about collabs too and this year they’ve put together an exclusive one between my fave, Shake Shack, and Nolita NYC Thai staple, Uncle Boons. Not only did they come up with an exclusive burger for EEEEEATSCON but also Shake Shack has turned one of Uncle Boons’s most popular desserts, their coconut sundae, into one of their signature concretes. Ok, I know you’re saying “But Chanel, isn’t this a WINE blog? What does this food festival have to do with wine?” Well, Impatient Impala I’m getting there. So one of London’s most popular restaurants and wine bars, Noble Rot, has curated The Wine Room, where festival attendees can go and not only have a glass of wine but hear some amazing winemakers and people in the wine industry speak. Some of the discussions include “French Women Making American Wine” and “Old Wines for Young People.” Outside of The Wine Room there is another area, The Panel Tent, where more discussions will be held including a sit down with recently retired NBA player Dwyane Wade who has made the transition from the world of basketball to world of wine making with his new project, Wade Cellars. According to their website, Wade Cellars (A California Winery) currently has a rosé, a red blend and a cabernet sauvignon. I’m dying to try all three of these. So we’ve got food, discussions and wine. Could this festival have anything else? Oh yes! Music! There will also music ranging from intimate cabaret performances in The Wine Room to rock bands on the main stage. This festival has A LOT going on! EEEEEATSCON is going down this weekend Oct. 5th and 6th at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, NY. Get your tix!
